Ulrich has a 20-year successful track record supporting senior
executives who must generate improved business results in the face
of major organizational change. He has advised and coached senior leaders and their
teams, ranging from Fortune 500 CEOs, to VCs and start-up entrepreneurs
and to Chairmen of global non-profits. Ulrich helps strengthen
and broaden the capabilities of the leaders and the organizations
he supports.
Examples of Ulrich’s recent client work:
- Helped the President of a $2Bn
consumer packaged goods company redesign his governance
structure, put in place a new leadership team and extend
leadership beyond the corner office to the next level of 150
leaders. Provided on-going coaching to the President
and used various innovative approaches to drive new
behaviors in the context of the business’ challenges.
- Supported a successful CEO
transition for a leading $800M global professional services
firm. Helped the new CEO rapidly establish and launch
a first year strategic platform after unexpected business
events triggered succession. Assisted in articulating
the strategy, redesigned the governance structure and
created greater engagement of key stakeholders to accelerate
execution.
- Advised the partner of a west-coast VC firm on a range of
human capital issues for one of their portfolio companies at
a critical juncture in its growth. Support included refining
the approach for a successful CEO transition and formalizing
the new CEO selection process to ensure the VC would have better
selection and on-boarding outcomes.
